Several statewide economic relief options remain open to area businesses and residents.

The Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce reports the availability of $10-thousand grants to 50 businesses with fewer than 25 employees in each county on a first-come, first-served basis, as approved by the Ohio Controlling Board.

Bars and restaurants are eligible for $2,500 grants from the $37.5 million statewide Bar and Restaurant Assistance Fund, in addition to the Small Business Relief Grant.

Ohioans behind on rent, mortgage, water, and/or sewer utility bills since April may receive assistance through their local Community Action Agency through December 30.

More information on all statewide efforts to provide economic relief from the pandemic may be found at businesshelp.ohio.gov.
