EMT Training Course to be Held in Ada

Training for Emergency Medical Technicians will be held in Ada after the first of the year.   

This 150-hour course will be offered two evenings a week.  

Successful completion of the training will prepare the student to take the National Registry EMT written and skills exam.  

Once the National Registry Certification is achieved, students can apply for their Ohio EMT License.  

Local residents interested in the training and/or functioning as an Emergency Medical Technician with the Jackson-Forest Ambulance District should contact Dean Hankins, who is the Chief of EMS Operations with the Jackson-Forest Ambulance District at 419-273-2520.

The cost of the class will be paid by the Jackson-Forest Ambulance District for any local individuals that commit to a minimum of 2 years of active membership/ employment with the district.
