The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for our region starting this evening and running until Friday morning.
Periods of prolonged moderate to heavy rainfall is forecast and is expected to start tonight and go through Thursday.
The the rain on top of an already saturated ground due to snow melt, could cause rivers and streams to run high over the next couple of days.
People in the watch area, especially those living in areas prone to flooding, should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
Monitor the latest forecasts and be alert for possible flood warnings.
