Veteran’s Family Fishing Tournament

A veteran’s family fishing tournament is scheduled for April 30th, 9 AM -12 PM, at Veterans Park (A.K.A. Boy Scout Lake), Kenton, OH.  All Veterans and their immediate family members are welcome to attend this first annual event, however, the veteran must “register” themselves and their family members with the Veterans’ Service Office (located in the courthouse) to partake in the tournament.  Only registered participants will be able to win trophies and other prizes, along with having a light lunch provided, for free, after the event.

The winners will be based off of the largest fish caught the day of the event and will be awarded to the top three places in each of the following three categories:  10 years old or younger, 10 -18 years old, and 18 years old and older.  Live bait will be provided on a limited basis to all of the participants, while supplies last.
