Fairground Road in Kenton Closed Due to Gas Leak

A gas leak has Fairground Road (Letson Avenue in Kenton) closed at this time.

According to information from the Kenton Fire Department, traffic and pedestrians are not being allowed on the road.

A small number of homes have also been evacuated.

A repair crew from Dominion East Ohio Gas has been dispatched to begin repairing the gas line.

The road was closed around 7:45 this morning, and it is estimated that it could be reopened around noon today.
