A Delphos woman was killed in a one vehicle crash that occurred Monday night in Allen County.
According to a release from the Lima Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 81-year-old Irma Kill drove off the north side of the road while traveling west on Ridge Road, and her car struck a utility pole.
She was treated on scene prior to being transported to St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, where she was later pronounced dead.
Kill was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, which remains under investigation.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol reminds drivers to always wear a properly adjusted seatbelt.
