More than 400,000 rural Ohioans will soon have broadband access.

Senator Sherrod Brown announced yesterday the $170-million investment by the Federal Communications Commission into the expansion, which he has championed throughout the pandemic.

Earlier this year, Brown and fellow Senator from Ohio Rob Portman introduced the Rural Broadband Acceleration Act, legislature seeking the expedition of FCC funding to broadband expansion in Ohio.
