FDP Announces Hiring of New Officer

The Findlay Police Department announced the hiring of a new police officer.

Jon-Paul L. Maiden was sworn in on Monday.

The 27 year old graduated from Lindsey Wilson College in Kentucky with a degree in Criminal Justice.

He will attend the Ohio State Highway Patrol Academy in order to earn his Ohio Peace Officer Certificate.

Maiden will be assigned to the department’s patrol division after he successfully completes the academy.
