Findlay Bicyclist Injured After Being Struck by a Car

A Findlay man was injured after his bicycle was struck by a car this morning in Findlay.

 

According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, 55 year old Kenneth Bender was riding the bicycle north on Main Street in the curb lane when he was struck from behind by a car driven by 36 year old Kory Conley, of McComb.

 

Conley fled the scene and was located later.

 

He was arrested for possession of cocaine and possession of drug abuse instruments. Other charges are pending.

 

Bender was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital and was transferred by helicopter to St. Vincent Hospital in Toledo. His condition is not known at this time.

 

The accident remains under investigation.
