A Findlay man who was injured after his bicycle was struck by a car on September 27 in Findlay has died.
According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, 55 year old Kenneth Bender was riding the bicycle north on Main Street in the curb lane when he was struck from behind by a car driven by 36 year old Kory Conley, of McComb.
Conley fled the scene and was located later.
He was arrested for possession of cocaine and possession of drug abuse instruments. Other charges are pending with the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office.
Bender was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital and was transferred by helicopter to St. Vincent Hospital in Toledo where he died over the weekend.
