An armed robbery occurred at a business in Findlay Wednesday afternoon.
According to a release, a white male entered CashMax in the 1800 block of Tiffin Avenue at around 1:10 Wednesday afternoon. He produced a semi-automatic handgun and handed employees a note demanding cash.
The employees complied, and the suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of money.
He fled the area on foot.
With the assistance of the Hancock County Sheriff’s office K9 unit, a search was conducted, but the suspect was not located.
He was described as having an average build and was wearing blue jeans with a white long sleeve shirt with a black shirt underneath. He had a bandana covering his face.
The incident is under investigation.
