15 Findlay-area nonprofit organizations will receive a total of over $400,000 in federal CARES Act money.
The Courier reports the founding of the Hancock County Resilience Program, organized to distribute these funds to the groups judged to provide the most benefit to Hancock County residents amid the pandemic.
Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation president and CEO Brian Treece said that, while decreases in donations to area nonprofits look likely to continue into 2021, this funding should provide greater financial stability to these organizations.
