Findlay Police Department Hires New Officer

The Findlay Police Department has announced the hiring of a new police officer.

Kyle Sours was sworn in by Mayor Christina Muryn back on Monday May 2, 2022.

Sours, 33, is a graduate of the Tiffin Digital Academy. After high school he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, serving as a military police officer. After his military service, he worked for the City of Columbus as a licensing officer. Sours recently graduated from the police academy at Owens Community College.

Sours resides in Tiffin with his wife and two daughters.

Officer Sours will be assigned to the department’s patrol division.
