The Findlay Police Department participated in the 2019 national enforcement mobilization campaign “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” from Aug. 14 to Sept. 2, 2019.

This is an annual campaign with the purpose of reducing impaired drivers on area roadways during the weeks leading up to the Labor Day holiday by focusing on traffic violations as time allowed.

During the two weeks of enforcement, Findlay Police officers made 9 DUI arrests for motorists aged 21 and over. 3 adult and 2 child restraint citations were issued. 28 tickets for speeding violations were issued.

In addition, 16 felony arrests were made and a total 184 traffic stops were conducted during the period.
