A pursuit that occurred early Sunday morning in Findlay remains under investigation.

According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, officers attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 2500 block of South Main Street.

The driver instead fled out of the city on U.S. 68 and eventually turned east on Township Road 168. At that point, the driver turned off the headlights on the vehicle, and officers lost the vehicle and terminated the pursuit.

Before being called off, the pursuit covered nearly 3 miles.
