Findlay Post of Ohio State Highway Patrol Announces OVI Checkpoint

The Ohio State Highway Patrol announced today, that troopers from the Findlay Post will operate an OVI checkpoint to deter and intercept impaired drivers this week. 

The county where the checkpoint will take place will be announced the day prior to the checkpoint, and the location will be announced the morning of the checkpoint. 

OSP also released the results of a Marion County checkpoint that was held this past Friday August 16.

That checkpoint was held on Mount Vernon Avenue, near Forest Lawn Boulevard in the City of Marion.

Officers made contact with 442 vehicles that passed through the checkpoint.

3 vehicles were diverted for further investigation and no drivers were arrested for OVI.

Operational support for the sobriety checkpoints is provided by local law enforcement agencies.
