The Kenton Fire Department was dispatched this evening. Mutual assistance was provided by the Forest Fire Department.
BKP Ambulance was on the scene, but there were no initial reports of injuries.
The fire occurred in the women’s clothing area of the store.
Firefighters are saying it was a small fire and would not elaborate on the cause.
The store is currently closed, and we’re waiting for word from the store manager to see how long the closure will last. Unofficial word is it will be closed at least for the night.
More details later.
