Fire Damages Barn in Wyandot County
A chimney fire occurred at a residence in Wyandot County Sunday evening.
Firefighters from the Sycamore Fire Department were dispatched to the 1300 block of County Highway 30 where the fire was located in a barn on the property.
According to the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office report, the resident, Richard F. Orr II stated that he threw wood in the wood burner and the chimney broke causing flames to shoot out against the wall.
No damage estimate was given.
