A box truck was damaged by fire at a residence in Wyandot County Wednesday morning.
According to the report from the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office, the truck was located in the 13,000 block of State Highway 37 when the electrical plugs on a generator that was running in the back of the truck caught on fire.
The Jackson-Forest Fire Department along with Jackson-Forest EMS arrived on scene and tankers from the Wharton and Marseilles Fire Departments were requested.
Danner’s Towing removed the truck from the property.
