Five people were sentenced recently in Hardin County Common Pleas Court.

 

According to documents from Prosecutor Brad Bailey's Office:

 

.Peyton William George was sentenced to a total of 8 years and 9 months in prison on two counts of felonious assault and one count each of aggravated burglary and grand theft. One count in the indictment included a firearm specification.

 

.Kelly J. Joseph Jr. was sentenced to a 8 months in prison on one count of escape.

 

The following three individuals were each placed on five years community control with conditions:

 

.Christopher L. Amweg on one count of possession of cocaine.

 

.Dennis R. McKinley Sr. on one count each of having a weapon under disability and possession of marijuana.

 

.Austin T. Eshelman on one count of domestic violence.

 

All cases were heard by Judge Scott Barrett.
