Flags at Half-Staff for Former Secretary of State
Governor Mike DeWine issued a flag lowering order today directing that all U.S. and Ohio flags be flown at half-staff upon all public buildings and grounds throughout the state.
The order is in accordance with the order issued by President Biden.
It is to honor the life and service of the first female Secretary of State Madeleine Albright.
She passed away Wednesday at the age of 84.
The flag will be lowered to half-staff until sunset on Sunday March 27.
