All flags of the United States and the State of Ohio were ordered to be flown at half-staff upon all public buildings and grounds throughout the state.
Governor DeWine issued that proclamation over the weekend in accordance with an order from President Biden.
The flags were lowered in remembrance of the victims of the attack at the U.S. Capitol this past Friday April 2.
They will remain at half-staff until sunset on Tuesday April 6.
