Forest House Fire Ruled as Arson

A residential structure fire at 503 South Patterson, in the Village of Forest was reported to the Hardin County 9-1-1 Communications Center at 11:50 pm on May 31st, 2020.
 
Twenty eight Firefighters from 6 different fire departments (Forest, Dunkirk, Wharton, Marseilles, Kenton and Ada) responded to the scene, as well as personnel from Jackson-Forest EMS, and law enforcement officers from the Forest Police and the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office.
 
Investigators have posted a Blue Ribbon Arson Reward notice at the scene. Anyone with information concerning this fire should contact the Forest Fire Department, Forest Police Department or the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office. A reward of up to $5000 may be available to those providing information for the apprehension and prosecution of suspects involved.
