Forest Posting Leaf Pick-up Schedule Soon

Village of Forest officials are hoping to release a schedule for leaf pick up for the village soon.

The truck used for pickup is currently being repaired, with the hope that repairs will be complete by the end of this week.

The maintenance department will be starting on the street with storm basins and will continue on after those are cleared. 

Residents should take leaves to the curb and not in the street. 

The leaves should be clear of debris, sticks, limbs and grass clippings, since they will only hinder cleanup efforts and damage the machine causing additional delays.
