The Chief of the Forest Police Department is reminding citizens of Forest to make sure their vehicles and buildings are secure.
Chief Southward said it’s spring which tends to bring out those individuals that enjoy roaming throughout the village and rummaging through unlocked cars and property.
The police department is asking residents to watch the properties of friends, family and neighbors, and if they see something suspicious or witness a crime in progress, they should call 9-1-1 immediately.
