Forest Teen Injured in Union County Crash

A Forest teenager was injured in a crash that occurred over the weekend in Union County.

According to the report from the Union County Sheriff’s Office, 16 year old Olivia Smith was driving south on State Route 31 when a car being driven by 47 year old Randica Haynes drove into her path from a red light on State Route 47.

The crash resulted in disabling damage to Smith’s vehicle.

She was transported to Union Memorial Hospital in Marysville for treatment of suspected minor injuries.

Haynes and two passengers in Smith’s vehicle were not injured.

Haynes was cited for failing to yield from a red light.
