Forest Teenager Cited After Hancock County Crash

A Forest resident was involved in an accident that occurred around noon on Wednesday in Hancock County.

According to the report from the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office, 18 year old Jerry Smith lost control of his car while driving south on Township Road 191.

The car slid off the right side of the road where it struck a mailbox.

The driver and a passenger in the car were not injured.

Smith was cited for failing to maintain reasonable control.
