Forest Village Council agreed to review an ordinance that bans hens and other animals within the village.
Council recently passed the ordinance, but it was re-visited at this past Thursday night’s meeting.
Mayor Dean Hankins said that around 8 citizens addressed council asking that they reconsider the ban.
The mayor added that most were not opposed to banning roosters.
At the meeting on February 11, council members agreed a committee will review the ordinance and report its recommendations to the entire council at a future meeting.
