An arson investigation into four structure fires early Saturday morning continues today.
According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, the first fire was reported around 2:20 Saturday morning at 715 Leonard Street.
The Kenton Fire Department was already on scene when officers arrived.
While there, a police officer noticed that a house located at 726 Tracy Street was on fire. The house was full of smoke, and an elderly female was escorted off the porch of the house.
A deputy from the Hardin County Sheriff's Office then reported that there was another structure fire on West Walnut Street and a short time later the fourth fire was reported on South Leighton Street.
Two of the structures were occupied and two were vacant. There were no injuries.
Kenton Police Chief Dennis Musser and Kenton Fire Chief Tim Clark both said the structures appeared to be randomly selected.
Chief Clark added that samples from the fire locations were sent to the State Fire Marshal's Office for analysis.
Anyone with information on the fires should call either the fire or police departments or Hardin County Sheriff's Office.
