Obituary for Frank E. Rogers, Jr

Frank E. Rogers, Jr, 83 of Kenton passed away on Wednesday, November 25,

2020 at the Arlington Good Samaritan Nursing Home. He was born on April 28, 1937 in Kenton to the late Frank E. Rogers Sr. and Dolores Rogers.

Frank was a 1955 graduate of Kenton High School.  He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army. Frank worked for United Aircraft Products for 40 years where he also served as the Union President for the U.A.W. Local 1033. He is survived by his life long partner, Linda Ellcessor of Forest, brother, Ron (Joyce) Rogers, nephews; Ron (Cindy) Rogers, Ed (Jennifer) Rogers all of Kenton, one great niece, three great nephews, numerous other nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Willie. Frank was preceded in death by his sister, Iola McGinnis. He enjoyed sports, fishing and trap shooting.

Frank was a kind hearted and giving person who will be missed by his family and especially Linda. A funeral service for Frank will begin at 1:00 pm on Monday, December 7, 2020 at the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Kenton where the family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Frank to the Hardin County Armory or New Hope Ministry Park Shelter.
