It is parade day in Kenton.
The Lions Club parade will line up starting at 9 this morning at the Mary Lou Johnson Hardin County District Library.
It will move out starting at 10 this morning and travel to the downtown.
The parade will head to Franklin Street where it will travel east to Grove Cemetery where services will be held.
A parade will also take place in Alger this afternoon.
Lineup will take place between 11 and noon at the old school.
The parade moves out at one this afternoon and will travel down Main Street and will go back up on McConnell Street in the village.
A reminder also that trash pick-up for the city of Kenton will be delayed one day due to the Memorial Day Holiday.
The Kenton swimming pool opens for the season today.
The forecast is calling for plenty of sun and temperatures in the upper 80’s for this opening day.
The hours are 1PM until 6PM.
