The Hardin County Commissioners have decided to withdraw from the Logan County Juvenile Detention Center.

That decision was made at a recent meeting where it was announced that the Logan County Commissioners presented Hardin County with an offer to continue with the

Center.

The Logan County Commissioners offer was for Hardin County to pay an additional $250,000 for two more beds for a total of $500,000 and eight beds for 2022, or the facility will no longer operate.

All three commissioners voted to not make the additional $250,000 payment as requested and withdraw from the Logan JDC.

That will be effective December 31 of this year.
