Deputies from the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office got the opportunity to try out new high-tech training.

They donned virtual reality headsets for the training.

The new method allows the deputies to complete state mandated training hours by immersing them into virtual reality.

The virtual reality headsets are owned by CORSA, the county insurance provider, and they were loaned to the Sheriff’s Office at no cost.
