The Hardin County Historical Museums is collecting information on area veterans for a special project.
Director Sheena Striker said those who purchased a veteran’s banner are being asked to provide the information that is needed for the project, “We will be creating a book about those who have served in the military from this county. This is a tremendous undertaking, and we are in need of your help. If you or someone you know served and is from Hardin County we would love you to share their information with us, so that we can put it in our book. It is free to submit and by doing so you will be ensuring future generations are able to access the information.”
She said they hope to release the book in time for Memorial Day in May.
For the complete discussion, tune in Public Eye Saturday morning at 7:30 and Sunday at noon on WKTN.
