Hardin County Sheriff’s Office Honors Chief Deputy Dennis Burns on His Retirement

The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office expressed their gratitude and thanks Chief Deputy Dennis Burns on his recent retirement.

Chief Burns has been an instrumental member of the office for a decade in his capacity as Chief Deputy and over thirty years total with the office as a Special Deputy.

He has served as Chaplain, Public Information Officer, Administrative Deputy and Chief Deputy.

He even served as Sheriff for three months while Sheriff Everhart was unable to perform the duties of Sheriff.

Chief Burns has had a storied career and they office said they are grateful to him for his service and dedication to the citizens of Hardin County.
