Hardin County Sheriff’s Office Warns of Scam Phone Calls

A concerned citizen notified the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday about a scam phone call.

The scammer identified themself as a Hardin County Deputy Sheriff.  

The person alleged they were calling to “take care of a pending warrant”.

The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office stated that they will not place phone calls in an attempt to execute or take care of a warrant.
