Winners are selected based on their project work, 4-H participation, major 4-H honors and awards, community service, leadership, and school/community involvement.
Youth must complete the Ohio 4-H Achievement Record to apply.
The applications are judged at the county level and one youth from each county can be sent on to state judging per category. Ohio 4-H Achievement Winners at the state level receive the opportunity to serve as an Ohio delegate to National 4-H Congress in the fall.
Over 800 youth from around the United States and its territories will gather in Atlanta, Georgia to participate in a program of educational, service, and recreation opportunities.
