Heartbeat of Hardin County held their annual appreciation banquet, Saturday.  The banquet is to thank those who have given time and funds to Heartbeat.

Executive Director of Heartbeat Julie Zaring, gave a presentation about 2017. Zaring stated that the number of people using Heartbeat services were down compared to the previous year. She stated that other organizations are doing free pregnancy tests in the community, and some people still don’t know what they have to offer. Zaring also talked about all the programs Heartbeat has been doing in the community.

Following the presentation the "Friend of Heartbeat Awards" were handed out.  These awards are given to those who have gone above and beyond to help the Mission of Heartbeat.  For more details and a list of award winners, a complete story is on wktn.com
