Heartbeat of Hardin County was the recipient of a grant from the Elks National Foundation.
Julie Crowe, from the Kenton Elks Lodge #157 presented a the $2500 grant to Julie Zaring, Executive Director of Heartbeat, on Monday.
Zaring said the money will be used to stock the shelves with cleaning and other supplies to help families.
The GEMS 2.0 girls helped to thing things organized.
Heartbeat of Hardin County is open Monday through Thursday from 3-7pm through May. From June through August, the hours are 1-6pm.
Heartbeat is located at 220 East Franklin Street in Kenton.
