A high speed pursuit through Kenton Monday evening ended with a crash in Logan County.

According to a release, Hardin County Sheriff’s Deputies attempted to make a traffic stop on a vehicle that had been reported stolen in Trenton, Michigan.

After the overhead lights on the cruiser were activated, the driver of the stolen vehicle fled south on US 68.

The pursuit began about a mile north of Kenton and traveled through the City of Kenton where it continued on 68 south into Logan County at high rates of speed.

Charges are pending in Hardin County as well as Logan County.
