A high wind watch is in effect Wednesday morning through Wednesday evening.

During that time, southwest winds will be between 25-35 miles an hour sustained, with gusts up to 55 miles an hour possible.

Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines, and widespread power outages are possible.

Travel could also be difficult, especially in high profile vehicles.

Today would be a good time to secure loose objects or shelter objects in a safe location prior to the onset of winds.
