HN CCP Students Prepare and Present Speeches on Short Notice

The College Credit Plus speech students at Hardin Northern completed competitive-level extemporaneous speeches this week in class. 

Each student was given a speech topic with less than 24 hour notice and needed to create a memorized, seven minute speech with advanced research and proper citations. 

The students were evaluated on their ability to construct an organized speech that addressed their assigned topic.

They were also evaluated on presentation skills like posture, eye contact, and clarity of speaking.
