Hardin Northern first grade students, The Village of Dunkirk and Hardin County Pheasants Forever teamed up to plant a pollinator plot at the Dunkirk Park.

The village prepared the area and Pheasants Forever provided flower seeds to plant.

The first grade studied bees earlier in the year as part of their Project Based Learning Project.

This is the second year Hardin County Pheasants Forever worked with Hardin Northern first graders.

It is hoped that the pollinator plot will create a nice habitat and food for bees and other pollinators.
