Home Town Media/WKTN Partners with United Way for Radio Day Auction

Home Town Media LTD. / WKTN has partnered with United Way of Hardin County to present “Radio Day For United Way” to be held on Saturday March 28th 2020.

“Radio Day For United Way” will be a live radio broadcast auction to help raise funds for the United Way of Hardin County. The auction will also be streamed online for viewers as well. Donations are being sought to help support “Radio Day For United Way” and businesses who would like to donate gift certificates/cards, items, or anything of value for the auction may do so by contacting Executive Director Michelle Daniels 419-675-1860 or director@unitedwayhardincounty.org

Executive Director Michelle Daniels had this to say of the partnership “The United Way of Hardin County is excited & very thankful to be partnered with WKTN in this fundraiser. This fundraiser will assist in helping fund our 22 partner agencies that assist the residents of Hardin County in one way or another, in every community in Hardin County.”

WKTN Station Manager Chad Spencer had this to say of the partnership; “This partnership is a great way to highlight the benefits United Way has for Hardin County and to help raise funds for so many agencies that they support. The staff of Home Town Media / WKTN is proud to assist the United Way in raising funds for the United Way of Hardin County.”

WKTN General Manager Shannon Barnes had this to say of the partnership: “Home Town Media is always looking for ways to support our region and the United Way Carries that as their only mission. What a great opportunity for partnership!”

About the United Way:

United Way is a locally incorporated, nonprofit organization that is the single largest non-governmental funder of health and human services in our community. United Way dollars support more than twenty (20) health and human service programs addressing community problems in Hardin County.
