Incident Involving Recklessly Operated Vehicle Reported in Wyandot County

An incident involving a recklessly operated vehicle was reported to the Wyandot County Sheriff’s office Sunday afternoon.

The deputy located the vehicle along U.S. 23 partially on the road.

The vehicle with West Virginia license plates was still in drive and the driver was passed out behind the wheel.

The driver was awakened, and the deputy informed him to place the vehicle in park and exit.

A large amount of marijuana paraphernalia and a loaded handgun that was easily accessible to the driver was located.

The incident remains under investigation.
