Indiana Man Arrested After Pursuit with Findlay Police

An Indiana man was arrested after a motorcycle pursuit with Findlay Police Thursday night.

According to a release, an officer attempted to stop the motorcycle in the 2100 block of South Main Street for not having a tail light.

The motorcyclist failed to comply and fled leading officers on a 3 mile pursuit that ended in the 9500 block of U.S. 224 where the motorcycle stalled.  

During the pursuit, the motorcyclist failed to stop at numerous stop signs and red lights and reached speeds in excess of 80 miles an hour.  

The driver of the motorcycle was identified as Dustin Wright of Syracuse, Indiana.  

He was arrested for Failure to Comply and was cited for not having Lighted Lights at Night, Driving Under Suspension, and defective exhaust.  

It was later found that Wright is wanted for felony warrants out of Indiana.  

He is currently incarcerated at the Hancock County Justice Center.
