Janet’s remains will be honored in a private family graveside service at the Grove Cemetery in Kenton at a later date. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Janet left this world peacefully to go home to Jesus on October 30, 2020.

She was born in Kenton, Ohio on May 1, 1938, to Leroy and Gail (Cummings) Burba.

She is preceded in death by her husband of many years, Delmar Manns. Together they had three children: surviving son, Dean Quintin Manns of Kenton and she is preceded in death by son, David Lee Manns and daughter, Deborah Ann (Manns) Harris.

Affectionately named Grandma J, Nanny, and Mom Janet by her six grandchildren, she is survived by: Destiny (Justin) Titus of West Mansfield, Melissa (Patrick) Zell of Rushsylvania, Autumn Manns of Ridgeway, John Harris, Jason Harris, and Jerrod Harris. She is also survived by her seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Also surviving is one brother, Norman Burba. She was preceded in death by one brother, Lowell Burba.

Janet especially enjoyed serving those with developmental disabilities, including working at a group home and HARCO Industries in Kenton. She will forever be remembered for her delicious homemade caramels, never being without a Pepsi, and not missing a chance for an afternoon nap.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Universal Home Health and Hospice in Bellefontaine, Ohio.
