The month of July is Vehicle Theft Prevention Month.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol has recovered over 6200 stolen vehicles around the state from 2019 to 2023.
The Patrol reminded Ohioans that there are things they can do to help keep you from being a victim.
You should always lock your doors, park in well-lit areas and hide any valuables from view.
