Juvenile Male Dies After Shooting in Allen County

A shooting in Allen County claimed the life of a juvenile male this morning.

According to a release, deputies from the Allen County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the Hampton Inn on Roschman Avenue in Lima to investigate the incident.

Upon arrival, deputies located the juvenile male on the bathroom floor in a rented room.

He was suffering from a single gunshot wound.

Deputies quickly provided aid until EMS arrived on scene.

Upon their arrival, EMS began life saving measures, however they were unsuccessful.

Two other juveniles were found in the room and were detained by deputies.

The investigation is ongoing and more details will be released as the investigation allows.
