Kenton City School is standardizing the process for contacting parents if they have not received information regarding why a child is not at school.

Most parents do notify the schools in advance when their child will be absent.

When a parent forgets, the school will continue to send an automated call reminding them to do so.

Since the call will be based on data entered by school secretaries, you may still receive a call if you were not able to notify the school about the absence after 8:50 AM.

Parents are reminded to make every effort to contact your child’s school ahead of time if they will not be in attendance that day.
